On October 13th, the press conference for the "Stories of CPC – Achievements of Northeast China in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" thematic briefing was held in Changchun, Jilin Province. The "Stories of CPC – Achievements of Northeast China in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" thematic briefing will be co-hosted by the IDCPC, CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee, CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee, CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, and CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee. The thematic briefing, themed "Striving for New Breakthroughs in the Full Revitalization of Northeast China," will be held in Changchun, Jilin Province on October 14th. More than 200 political party leaders from over 50 countries, some foreign diplomatic envoys in China, and representatives of foreign business communities in China were present.

This thematic briefing will feature rich content and incorporate many activities, including bilateral meetings, a main session, an economic and trade promotion session and visits of foreign guests. Its main purpose is to introduce Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era to the international community in an in-depth manner, especially using the full revitalization of the northeast China as an example, to promote General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on regional coordinated development, and tell the stories of Chinese modernization and the story of the CPC's governance from a new perspective.
