Beijing, February 26th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Dashzegve Amarbayasgalan, Chairman of Mongolia's State Great Hural.
Liu said, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, China-Mongolia relations have maintained good momentum of development. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Mongolian side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, enhance strategic alignment, deepen political mutual trust, and intensify practical cooperation in various fields to promote greater development of China-Mongolia relations. In the current world fraught with turmoil and changes, China and Mongolia, as comprehensive strategic partners and important neighbors, should closely coordinate and cooperate at bilateral and multilateral levels, jointly address challenges, and jointly maintain regional peace and stability.
Liu said, exchanges of ideas and strategic communication are of vital importance. In recent years, the two countries' political parties have maintained close exchanges, which have effectively enhanced mutual trust and injected strong impetus into the development of China-Mongolia relations. The CPC is willing to strengthen political dialogue with Mongolian political parties, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in party building and state governance, promote practical cooperation through inter-party channels, enhance youth exchanges, continuously consolidate political mutual trust, and lay a solid public opinion foundation for bilateral relations.
Amarbayasgalan said, Mongolia and China are permanent neighbors linked by mountains and rivers and are comprehensive strategic partners. In recent years, under the leadership and promotion of the leaders of the two countries, cooperation in various fields between Mongolia and China has been comprehensively advanced and achieved fruitful results. Developing relations with China is one of the priorities of Mongolia's foreign policy. The Mongolian side firmly adheres to the one-China principle. The Mongolian side is willing to closely communicate with the Chinese side at all levels and in all departments, including government, legislative bodies, and political parties, deepen practical cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, ports, new energy, and agriculture and animal husbandry, and promote the continuous development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China. The delegation includes representatives from five major Mongolian political parties. Mongolian political parties have high consensus on strengthening exchanges and cooperation with China and are willing to further enhance dialogue and exchanges with the CPC.
Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Nyamaa Enkhbold, Mongolian Ambassador to China, attended the meeting.
