Beijing, March 5th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), attended here today on the afternoon a networking event for female senior executives of international companies in China. During the event, he delivered a speech.
Zhao first extended greetings for International Women's Day to the guests present. He said, China's women's cause has achieved all-round progress and women play an important role in promoting economic development. China has always adhered to the basic state policy of opening to the outside world and has introduced a series of measures to stabilize foreign investment. The IDCPC attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with international business communities and hopes that female executives of international companies in China will actively play the role of bridges and links to contribute to promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and other countries.
